3. Jesus Christ is God's only Provision for our sin.

God's answer comes through the perfect life, death
and resurrection of a substitute sacrifice for our sins.

God's Son, Jesus Christ is the One who paid our debt of sin. We could
not possibly pay it.  Jesus said,

"I am the way and the truth and the Life.  No one comes
to the Father (God) except through me."    John 14:6

Jesus is the only way to God, because He is the only One in history
to take sin's penalty for you and me.  Buddha did not die for our sins;
Muhammad did not die for our sins.  Jesus shed His blood on the cross,
was buried, and rose again on the third day.  He paid the debt of sin.

"(God) wants all men to be saved and to come to a
knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
who gave Himself as a ransom for all men."  I Tim. 2:4-6b

Because of our sin, we are condemned and sentenced to death; but God offers us a pardon through receiving His Son, Jesus Christ, by faith.  The point is that you have to be willing to accept the pardon. "How do I do that?" you may ask.  "How can I experience a new  life, free from guilt and shame?   It is simple.

4We must receive Jesus Christ as Savior
     and Lord.

By faith ask Jesus Christ to come into your life. Ask Him
to take control of your life, and be the Lord of your life.

You must be willing to confess your sins to God, ask Him for forgiveness, tell Him that you want to change, and turn from the sinful life you have been living.

If you are willing to do that, God will forgive you and cleanse you.  He will give you a new life and a new beginning.  You can have the assurance that you have been saved and that one of these days, when death comes for you, you will have nothing to fear.  You will know that for eternity you will be safe in the presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Salvation is free for anyone who calls on the Lord and repents of His sin.  It is a gift from God that anyone can accept.  The Bible says,

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."    Romans 6:23

Now is the time.  Are you willing to trust Him as your personal Savior? Do not put off making a decision for Christ.  The Bible says, "Now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."    2 Corinthians 6:2b

The way believers talk to the Lord is through prayer.  Your prayer should be your own, from your own heart to His.  If your desire is to accept Christ as your Savior now, just pray this prayer:

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that I need
Your forgiveness.  I believe that Christ died in my place
to pay the penalty for my sin and that He rose from the
dead.  I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my life as
my Savior and Lord.  I want to follow You from this
day forward, forever more.  Thank you for forgiving
my sins and giving me eternal life.
                                                         In Jesus name,  Amen.

If you have prayed that prayer and meant it, God has forgiven you and cleansed you.  Your name is now recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life.  This is the record of everyone in history who has trusted the Savior.  Your name
is written there and it can never be erased.
